# RomeoSEO: free SEO agent skills (v2)

Seven original Markdown skill files from https://romeoseo.com/skills

## Start here

1. Pick a skill and read its required inputs.
2. Attach the .skill.md file to an agent that can read files, or provide its local path.
3. Supply your domain, business profile, target market, product facts, and the data requested by the skill.
4. Tell your agent to use the skill for a specific task and ask for missing inputs before starting.
5. Review the output before using it in the next step.

For persistent installation, follow your agent's skill format. Some agents require each skill in its own folder with a file named SKILL.md. The original filenames are preserved here and are not automatically recognized by every tool.

## Suggested workflow

Site content inventory -> Opportunity research or Performance audit -> Content brief -> Blog writer -> Content QA -> CMS publishing adapter

The file numbers identify the pack; they do not prescribe the execution order. The inventory is the shared starting point. Use only the skills needed for your task.

## What is included

01-seo-opportunity-research.skill.md: keyword and competitor research, scored opportunities
02-seo-performance-audit.skill.md: organic performance changes, causes, prioritized actions
03-seo-content-brief.skill.md: briefs for selected opportunities
04-seo-blog-writer.skill.md: drafts and refresh packages from approved briefs
05-seo-content-qa.skill.md: scored content review and targeted fixes
06-site-content-inventory.skill.md: a durable map of pages, intent, keywords, and tasks
07-cms-publishing-adapter.skill.md: QA-approved content prepared for a publishing destination

## Tools, costs, and permissions

The skill files are free, with no RomeoSEO account required. Your agent, model, data tools, and CMS services may charge separately. You supply tool access, exports, and any credentials through your agent's secure configuration. These instructions do not include integrations or automatically schedule tasks.

The original v2 files retain status: proposal in their metadata. Configure and review them for your own setup. Start the publishing adapter in package-only mode and grant explicit permissions for external changes or publication.

Each skill has its own shareable page at https://romeoseo.com/skills/<skill-name> and a direct file URL at https://romeoseo.com/downloads/skills/<filename>.
