Search Console quick wins
Connect Google Search Console read-only and get four lists from your own data: searches almost on page 1, pages with too few clicks for their position, pages competing for one search, and pages losing clicks. It all runs in your browser.

How it works
Connect with Google. You'll see that this tool asks for read-only access to Search Console, nothing else.
Pick a property. Your browser fetches the last 28 days and the 28 days before straight from Google.
Your browser works out the quick wins and shows them as tables you can download. Nothing is sent to us or saved.
Your data stays in your browser
This tool talks to Google directly from the page you're looking at. Google sends your Search Console data to your browser, the analysis runs in your browser, and when you close the tab it's gone. None of it passes through RomeoSEO's servers, and we don't store your access, your properties or your numbers.
Access is read-only: the tool can't change anything in Search Console, submit sitemaps or add users. Press Disconnect to revoke access straight away, or remove it any time from your Google account's security settings under third-party connections.
The four quick wins, explained
- Almost on page 1: searches where your best page averages position 8 to 20 and still gets impressions. Google already thinks the page is relevant; a clearer answer, better coverage of the topic or a few internal links from strong pages can lift it into the top results, where most clicks happen.
- Few clicks for the position: page-1 results whose click rate is under half of what your own site usually gets at the same position. The ranking is earned, but the title and description in the results aren't persuading people. Rewriting the title is often the fastest win on this list.
- Pages competing: searches where two or more of your pages each get a real share of the impressions. That's sometimes called keyword cannibalisation. It can be fine, but often one page that covers the topic fully would outrank two that each cover half.
- Losing clicks: pages that lost at least five clicks and a fifth of their clicks compared with the previous 28 days, with the searches that fell most.
Why the click-rate check uses your own site
Most CTR tools compare you with an industry-wide curve: position 1 gets this many clicks, position 2 gets that many. Those curves vary a lot between studies, and your results page might have ads, maps, videos or an AI Overview above you that no average accounts for.
So this tool compares each result with your site's own typical click rate at the same position, using the middle value (the median) of your results there. A result is flagged only when it gets less than half of that. It's a fairer test: if your brand searches have high click rates and your blog posts low ones, the outliers still stand out.
What to do first, and what the data can't tell you
Start with the click-rate list: titles and descriptions are quick to change and the effect shows within weeks. Then work through the page-1 candidates, improving the page rather than just adding keywords. Use the losing-clicks list to catch problems early: check whether the position dropped (competitors improved) or the impressions dropped (fewer people searched, often seasonal).
Search Console hides very rare searches to protect searchers' privacy, and this tool reads up to 5,000 search-and-page pairs per period, so large sites see their biggest rows here, not every row. Positions are averages across all the times you appeared, on every device and in every country. And the data runs up to three days behind, because Google's numbers take time to settle.
Questions people ask
Is it safe to connect my Search Console?
The tool only asks Google for read-only access, the data goes from Google to your browser and nowhere else, and nothing is saved. You can revoke access with the Disconnect button or in your Google account.
Why don't I see my property?
Only properties your Google account is verified for, or has been added to as a user, are listed. Connect the account you use in Search Console.
What's a good click-through rate?
It depends on the search and what else is on the results page. Compare your pages with each other, as this tool does, rather than with a published average.
What is keyword cannibalisation?
Two or more of your pages competing for the same search, so Google keeps switching between them and neither ranks as well as one strong page would.
Is Search Console quick wins free?
Yes. No signup, no RomeoSEO account. You need a Google account with access to a Search Console property.
Want it done for you?
Romeo works through this list for you
He connects to your Search Console, rewrites titles on low-click pages, improves pages stuck below the top results, sorts out pages competing for one search, and watches for drops. Every change waits for your approval.
