Your agent. Your setup.
A skill is a Markdown file with instructions for your agent: what it needs, how to do the work, and what to return.
Download a skill or unzip the full pack. Attach the .skill.md file to your agent, or ask it to read the local file. For persistent installation, follow your agent’s skill format; some require a folder with a file named SKILL.md.
Provide your domain, audience, product facts, and brand voice. Each file lists its required inputs. Supply exports or connect your own tools for search data, browsing, analytics, or CMS access as needed.
Tell your agent which skill to use and what you want done. Start with the site inventory, then research or audit. Pass the result through a brief, writing, and QA before preparing it for publishing.
The files are free and require no RomeoSEO account. You bring the agent and any connected tools; those services may charge separately. These are the original v2 files, marked “proposal” in their metadata. They provide instructions; integrations and automatic scheduling need your own setup.
Before you start
Yes. Download individual files or the complete pack without an account, email address, or payment. Your agent, model usage, and any third-party data or publishing tools may have their own costs.
The files are plain Markdown instructions. Use an agent that can read attached or local files and has the tools needed for your task. Installing a persistent skill depends on the agent’s format; the downloaded filenames are not automatically recognized by every tool.
Start with Site content inventory to map what you have. Use Opportunity research to choose new work, or Performance audit to understand changes. Then move through Content brief, Blog writer, Content QA, and the Publishing adapter as needed. Each file tells you which inputs to supply.
No. You configure tool access and supply the data. The publishing skill starts from approved content and needs explicit destination permissions. Review outputs and decide what your agent is allowed to change.
