Terms of service
Last updated 11 August 2026
These terms cover your use of the RomeoSEO website and the application at https://app.romeoseo.com. By using either, you agree to them.
What the service does
RomeoSEO crawls a website you own or are authorised to manage, imports the search data you connect, audits your rankings and content, and proposes a short list of changes. Where you have connected a GitHub repository, it can write those changes and open a pull request for your review.
What it does not do
- It does not publish anything you have not approved.
- It does not push to your default branch, merge a pull request, or deploy your site.
- It does not guarantee any ranking, traffic or revenue outcome.
Your responsibilities
- You confirm you own the site you connect, or are authorised to act for its owner.
- You review every proposed change before merging it. You are responsible for what goes live on your site.
- You keep your access to the email address used for magic-link sign-in secure.
- You do not use the service to generate content that is unlawful, or to attempt to access another customer’s data.
Accuracy of generated content
Content and recommendations are produced with the help of automated analysis and language models. Every generated change passes an automated quality check, but checks are not a guarantee. Review the diff before you merge it.
Access
Access is currently by invitation while we add sites in batches. Joining the waitlist does not create an account or entitle you to access.
Price and cancellation
RomeoSEO costs $150 per month, per connected site. You can cancel at any time, and the service continues until the end of the period you have paid for. Prices may change with notice, and a change takes effect at your next renewal.
Third-party services
The service depends on Google Search Console, GitHub, DataForSEO, OpenAI and Resend. Interruptions to those services can interrupt RomeoSEO, and their own terms apply to your use of them.
Availability
We do not offer a service-level agreement. We aim to keep the service available and to give notice of planned downtime where practical.
Your data
You keep ownership of your site, your content and your data. We process it only to run the service, as described in our privacy policy. You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, RomeoSEO is not liable for lost rankings, lost traffic, lost revenue or indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or end access if these terms are breached, and will tell you why.
Changes to these terms
If these terms change materially we will update the date above and, if you hold an account, email you.
